Andrew and Almarié Murray developed the Fakawi aluminium frame and canvas canopy in 1996 for their landrover, making it lightweight for easy removal.
Their first canopy created so much interest that they decided to start manufacturing the canopies commercially. The frame is made from high-grade aluminium and is strong enough to carry a roof rack or rooftop tent.
The canopy is made from locally produced ripstop canvas and is fitted as standard with two side windows and a front window which can be opened.
The Fakawi canvas canopy offers you a versatile, lightweight alternative with an Africa-look to conventional canopies and has a number of uses and interesting features. The canopy is quick and easy to remove.
