The company was formed in 1986 and started making fibreglass canopies in small premises in Pretoria Wes and in Pinetown and acquired another fibreglass canopy manufacturer in East London to boost production due to increased demand.
SA Canopy Centre bought Slipstream Fibreglass Products that manufactured fibreglass canopies and other specialized fibreglass products and the two companies amalgamated in 1997.In 2003 SA Canopy Centre merged with an associate company Phantom Industries.
All their canopies are manufactured using the best quality materials and stainless steel hardware & fasteners. They are the only manufacturer who utilizes the superior ‘plant on’ sliding window system as standard on all of their canopies where applicable, providing added security and eliminating leaks completely.
